On Imperialist Occupation and Expansionist Policies in Syria and the Middle East

For years, the Middle East has been witnessing attempts of occupation and colonization by imperialist powers. The zionist entity, which was founded on the occupation of Palestine and has repeatedly occupied South Lebanon, has now launched a new wave of aggression against Syrian territory. Israel, which has been occupying the Golan Heights since 1967, has recently attempted to expand its occupation in Syria by advancing towards the Damascus line.

Our historical experience shows that Israel’s expansionist policies have brought nothing but genocide, war and land grabbing to the peoples of the region. Israel is trying to weaken the lines of resistance by continuing the same imperialist policies in Syria that it pursues on Palestinian and Lebanese fronts. The efforts to cut the supply line from Iran to Lebanon are particularly aimed at encircling the Palestinian Resistance and the Axis of Resistance. However, it should not be forgotten that the resistance against the Zionist occupation and colonialism that has been going on for 75 years has not ended and will not end.

At this critical stage, it is a historical responsibility to raise the struggle for the economic isolation of Israel. The call for a Global Intifada, of which we are a part, will continue to take an effective stance against Israel’s invasion policies in every area of resistance. Creating the regional conditions to strengthen the Palestinian resistance is the historical duty of every organization and power that claims to embrace the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom and sovereignty.

The presence of imperialist powers in the region is also the greatest threat to the right of peoples to live in peace and stability. In this context, it is of great importance that the peoples of the region build their future with their own self-organization.

HTS, which controls Damascus, has neither said a word nor taken any action against Israel, which continues its occupation by advancing towards the Damascus border. Zionism will continue to unleash blood and death on the occupied territories unless all the forces representing the will of the peoples in the Middle East stand openly on the side of the resistance against Israel, the imperialist outpost.

We stand for the people’s right to self-determination in Palestine and everywhere else in the world. Besides the renewed hope of the Syrian peoples, who were forced to leave their country, tortured, tortured and deprived of their hopes with the overthrow of the Assad regime after years of civil war in Syria with the intervention of various imperialist powers, to get rid of this oppression and to determine their own destiny; it should also be seen that the change creates fear for the peoples, taking into account the massacres and pogrom threats that the peoples have been exposed to in this process. Indeed, the regime change in Syria has whetted the appetite of the occupiers acting for their imperialist ambitions in the region; it has opened up space for Israel and Turkey to expand their occupation policies towards Syria and to intervene to usurp the gains of the peoples. In this context, as One Thousand Youth for Palestine, we are against all kinds of attacks and interventions against the sovereignty of the Syrian people, against all kinds of attempts to turn Syria into a distribution zone for imperialist powers, as in Palestine and Lebanon; we stand by the Syrian people.

We see that Turkey is a regional power backed by imperialism, that it insists on its collaboration in the genocide in Palestine and its occupationist stance in Syria, and we argue that this position must end immediately. Turkey, together with the TFSA it supports, is taking part in this new phase, expanding its invasion area in Syria and becoming one of the main actors in the plan to weaken and divide the Axis of Resistance. We want to openly expose the involvement of the government, whose relations with Israel we have been exposing and trying to weaken until today, in the new process that weakens the Palestinian resistance.

Syria’s future lies in establishing an order in which the peoples can live together freely and equally of their own free will. We recognize and embrace the will for peace, stability, equality and freedom of the Kurdish, Arab, Druze, Turkmen, Yazidi, Muslim, Assyrian, Christian, Jewish, Shiite, Sunni, Nusayri and Alawite peoples living in Syria.

We underline once again that we are the enemies of every political will that remains silent on Israel’s expansionist policies. We clearly state that we will try to disrupt the plans of the Turkish government, which is an actor of imperialist policies that facilitate and pave the way for the occupation of Palestine and the massacre of Palestinians. We call on Turkey to completely cut ties with Israel, to leave NATO, and to stand against the efforts to weaken the Axis of Resistance.

The Palestinian resistance has always found a way to resist until today, and it will find it again despite all efforts to prevent it. We will fight against every plan and every agenda that puts obstacles in the way of the Palestinian resistance, even if it takes 1,000 years.
